Top 4% of SMSF Accountants - 14/08/2011

The ATO has released some figures which we found surprising but at the same time rather pleasing. Arabon is in the top 4% of accounting practices in terms of the number of super funds that we prepare financial reports and tax returns for. What this means for our clients is that we have several accountants in our practice with good training, good experience and good knowledge of the governing legislation and regulations. Firms preparing SMSF tax returns with fewer than 100 funds find it hard to develop and maintain the level of expertise needed to do this job properly.

We do have our team of younger accountants help with super funds (we're not saying that we're all old!) to give them that vital experience. They in turn have access to the partners in the business for assistance with those curly questions that arise from time to time when dealing with SMSF law.
